Presentation of my project Urban Exoticism
Summary
Urban exoticism offers a unique perspective on the cultural and social issues of gentrification, cultural appropriation, and the postcolonial notion of exoticism. By exploring the peculiarities of urban Athens and how it has been appropriated as an “exotic” element, Urban Exoti-cism sheds light on the complexities of modern urban environments and the ways in which culture and identity are shaped within them.
